PSORIASIS

Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease characterized in part by epidermal keratinocyte hyper-proliferation. In other words, the skin cells over produce in some areas, creating what are known as plaques, or raised, reddened, sometimes scaly areas on the skin. Cannabinoids have been shown to inhibit this keratinocyte hyper-proliferation.

LUPUS

Lupus is a immune system disorder that involved inflammation throughout the entire body, and patients suffer from chronic pain, tissue and organ swelling and damage, as well as various other symptoms as a result of widespread inflammation. Because of the anti-inflammation properties of CBD oil, many are finding relief from the severe symptoms of this disorder.

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Multiple Sclerosis - Much research into the use of Cannabis in the treatment of MS has been completed. Most of this research involved a combination of CBD and THC, and shows relief of spasticity, pain, urinary symptoms and sleep disturbances associated with the disease process.

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Rheumatoid Arthritis - Cannabis has been shown in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis to reduce pain on movement and at rest, increase quality of sleep, and to suppress disease activity through combined immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory mechanisms.

ASTHMA

Asthma - The use of CBD in animal research pertaining to asthma has shown the blunting of the exaggerated inflammatory response that occurs in asthma patients. This response results in bronchiole constriction and mucus production that prevent airflow. Cannabinoids have been shown to increase peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) and forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1), increasing airflow in and out of the lungs.
